Book #20 from the series: River's End Series

River in the Morning

About

Zack Poletti is fresh from jail, and because of this he’s a changed man... and a lonely one. Left to rot by his dad and older brother, there is only his younger siblings left in the world for him.

But they reject him.

He finds kindness in an unexpected source of a new friend. He also meets his friend’s sister and he starts to feel big, new things about her.

But like so much in his life, he messes that up too.

Eliana Hayes had high expectations of her time with Zack to be severely disappointed by him, and who he turns out to be, literally down to the name he lied about. When a family alliance allows him to stay on the ranch, she is left with having to deal with him.

Things might have been okay, if only there were no more Poletti’s to show up.

But one more does, and Zack doesn’t reject him, which ends up having endless consequences for those around him...

Praise for this book

"Zach and Eliana have to face a ton of obstacles in their journey. But once again, Davis shows us that all of them are worth it in the end.

Yes, she got me to cry again, and yes, I read this book as fast as I could because I'm obsessed with all things pertaining to the River series.

This whole series is a must-read!"

"LeAnne Davis is a mastermind at writing book after book leaving you wanting more and more... I love her attention to detail, building strong characters on their journey through life's trials and tribulations.

I didn't see this coming; Zack and Eliana that is! It's understandable that Zack's brother and sister doesn't trust him. But... you can't help but want him to pull himself up by his boot straps and succeed in life. This story is very plausible with all the family dynamics for both the Poletti's and the Rydell's. I'm anxiously waiting the next book!"

"I love the River's End books! I enjoyed diving into the Poletti family as Erin and Jack are certainly beloved characters in these books and it was so nice to hear more from them and about Erin and her family. I love how thought provoking this book is concerning how an adult reacts to everyday situations inappropriately due to his extremely poor upbringing and learning with Zack how dyslexia affects people. Emotions are certainly raw at times and that is what makes this book a page turner."
