Book #6 from the series: The Zenith Series

Zenith’s Legend

About

One day, everyone will know his name.
Xavier Montgomery knew exactly how to become rich and famous. His voice. But how many wannabe singers could there be, all competing for the same break? Rob Williams, the front man of the eminent rock band, Zenith is the ideal vehicle for Xavier’s plans.
All he has to do? Is meet Rob’s daughter, Karlee.
There is nothing special about being the daughter of a famous rock star. In Karlee Randall’s opinion, it is neither exciting nor illicit, but all kinds of ordinary. The lifestyle doesn’t affect her much, aside from the unnecessary headache of strangers always trying to use her to meet her stepdad. Few can get past her invisible wall. She erected it long ago for protection and mental serenity.
When a teacher at her college randomly assigns Xavier Montgomery as her partner for a school project, Karlee finds it refreshing to meet someone without any underlying motives. In working closely together, they become fast friends. Then she discovers Xavier can sing too; so it’s only natural that she tell her dad. The ensuing mentorship brings Karlee and Xavier closer than she’s ever been to anyone.
Until he finds the fame that his voice deserves… and the consequences of that might cost them both everything...

Praise for this book

"On the face of it, this one might appear to be more of the "same old story" just written with different characters and a different setting and the usual predictable outcome. However, it was far from that. My thoughts around Xavier really changed the more I read. For me starts out as almost devious with how he "arranges" to meet Karlee and hence "use" her to further his dream of becoming a rockstar. But that impression slowly changed as you got to know him and as his relationship to Karlee develops. Karlee also changes in many ways thoughout the book. She starts off as a young lady who really has no real direction in life and is struggling to find who she really is. She morphs into a strong, resiliant young women, who can handle almost anything - except finding out the truth as to how Xavier came into her life. The journey that Xavier and Karlee go on, will have you both crying and laughing."

"Leanne Davis has done it again...incredible read! I have read all of these books in this series so far and they are incredible! These characters are amazing and have wonderful chemistry! I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down!!! So good!!!!"

"This series keeps getting better. Each offering of the next generation seems to offer more emotionally and dramatically. Karlee has a built in defence against users seeking access to her stepfather Rob. Xavier manages to sneak in through a gap she didn't know she had. At times you totally understand his determination and others you wanna slap him upside the head for being a fool. A great next instalment"
